Tai Po Community Green Station is located in Dai Wah Street with contemporary green building approach. The proposed landscape design echoes with the existing woodland. Planting layout displays neat and clear lines that emphasise the hardscape patterns, with occasional clustering of existing trees and flowering shrubs as a relaxed background. The natural colours of the timber decks, benches and fence walls contrast with the bright colours of the containers demonstrate a distinctive character in a modern industrial touch. By retaining large area of existing woodland and utilising recycle material paver, Tai Po CGS aims to demonstrate an alternative for community-space design, in which construction and environment could be mutually integrated.
